Who is responsible

Village IT & Technology Services Ltd is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. What we collect

Through the installation enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number, installation postcode, property type, whether the enquiry is residential or business, whether you already have a Starlink kit, your preferred timeframe, the services you need, any description you write, and any photographs you choose to upload.

We do not ask for and do not want Starlink account credentials or payment-card details. Please never send them.

Why we use it

Solely to respond to your enquiry, assess the work, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the installation. Our lawful bases are your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Where it is stored

Enquiries and any uploaded photographs are stored in a secured cloud database and private file store used by this website, with access restricted to the business. A copy of your enquiry is also sent to us by email so we can reply.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work are retained for as long as needed for warranty, insurance and statutory accounting purposes, normally six years.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, or withdraw consent. Email starlink@villageit.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Third parties

Referral buttons take you to Starlink’s own website, where Starlink’s privacy policy applies. We receive no personal data about your Starlink order. Optional analytics only load if you consent — see our cookie policy.
