Installation services
Professional Starlink installation, done once and done properly
A paid, independent service from Village IT & Technology Services Ltd. Village IT holds Starlink Authorised Professional Installer status — an installation accreditation only. We assess the property first, then quote; nothing is priced before we understand the job.
Every service we offer
Residential Starlink installation
Complete home installation: mounting position assessment, secure fixing, cable routing and router setup.
Starlink Roam installation
Mounting and power arrangements for Roam kits on motorhomes, boats, holiday lets and temporary sites.
Business & commercial installation
Installations for farms, offices, workshops, campsites and rural business premises, planned around site access.
Roof installation
Roof-mounted dishes fitted with appropriate access equipment and working-at-height precautions.
Wall mounting
Discreet wall mounts using fixings suited to brick, block, render, timber or stone elevations.
Pole & ground mounting
Pole and ground mounts where a clearer view of the sky is available away from the building.
Outbuilding installation
Barns, stables, garages, garden offices and annexes, including links back to the main property where practical.
Cable routing
Tidy, protected cable runs with sensible entry points and concealment wherever the building allows.
Weatherproofing
Sealing, gland fitting and cable management to keep entry points weather-tight.
Site surveys
An assessment of mounting options, access, cable routes and safety requirements before work is quoted.
Obstruction checks
Checks for trees, chimneys and buildings that may interrupt the dish's view of the sky. Results are never guaranteed obstruction-free.
Equipment repositioning
Moving an existing dish to a better position, mount or elevation.
Existing-installation troubleshooting
Investigating poor performance, dropouts, damaged cabling or insecure mounts on existing installations.
Wi-Fi & home-network optimisation
Router placement, mesh nodes, access points and wired links so the connection reaches where you need it.
Rural & remote-property installations
Installations at properties with limited fixed-line broadband, long cable runs or difficult access.
How an installation runs
- Enquiry: you send the property details, requirements and any photographs.
- Assessment: we discuss mounting options, obstructions, cable routes and access.
- Quote: a written price based on what the job actually needs.
- Installation: mount fitted, cable routed and sealed, router positioned and tested.
- Handover: we show you the setup, the app basics and what to watch for.
We cannot guarantee speeds, coverage or an obstruction-free view of the sky — those depend on Starlink’s network and your property. We do guarantee careful, safe workmanship and honest advice about what is achievable.
Why there is no fixed price list
- Height and access requirements, including whether ladders or towers are needed.
- Mount type: wall, roof, pole, ground or outbuilding.
- Cable run length, entry points and concealment.
- Any additional networking such as mesh nodes or access points.
